Chuck Fifer. Barry plays the father of Drew's (Drew Carey) fiancée. Mr. and Mrs. Fifer (Anne Francis) travel quite a distance to meet Nicki and Drew at a restaurant. Nicki is delayed and the dinner turns into a disaster after Drew shows the Fifers a picture of their daughter looking much heavier than they remember her. Chuck blames his wife for this and results in an hilarious quarrel that leaves the Fifers estranged. The "newly-single" Chuck asks Drew to introduce him to some girls, but Drew, who feels responsible for the situation, tries to bore Chuck to death by showing him how he and the gang divert themselves, so that Chuck might reunite with his wife.
