Seven
Men. One Destiny.
Episode 1.3
Working Girls
Looking
for a little "relaxation," Chris, Buck and J. D. head
out to Wickstown, where Wickes (Barry Corbin), the proprietor,
has set up some adult entertainment -cards, whiskey and
prostitutes. When they get there, they discover that the women
are being mistreated and witness one girl almost beaten to death
by Wickes. Chris decides to bring the girl back to Four Corners
where she can get some medical aid, and under cover of night,
the rest of the working girls follow to escape their cruel boss.
But challenging Wickes proves to be a major undertaking and soon
the seven are facing his henchmen. |

Wickes.
Barry plays the evil, despicable owner of a bordello and town
leader of Wickestown. Wickes threatens his girls, forcing them
to please him or face death. A cussing, cursing heavy drinker,
Wickes beats everyone who doesn't obey his orders. Wickes seeks
revenge against Buck (Dale Midkiff), who stopped him
from hitting
one of his whores.
Wickes retaliates by
kidnapping Lydia (Katy
Boyer), after a group of
prostitutes escapes enlisting the aid
of the Seven.
Barry often comments that people who don't know him are
usually scared of him, and this role may be the perfect example
for the misconception.
